Terms of Service

Last updated October 17, 2026

Draft pending final operating decisions and review. Paid subscriptions are not open. Business, refund, and other operating terms must be finalized before paid enrollment.

1. Who we are

The SLP Atlas ("the Service") is operated by Ethan Heinrick under the Proper Pug Works name, with no LLC formed ("we"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the Service is

The Service is an educational reference that organizes reported information about speech-language assessments, with citations and source-access details. It is not a substitute for a publisher's examiner manual, professional training, or clinical judgment. You are responsible for every clinical decision you make. Figures can be incomplete, can change when publishers revise tests, and can differ between sources; where sources differ, the Service says so.

3. No affiliation

Test names are the trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the tests discussed. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any test publisher, ASHA, or university.

3a. Sources, access and corrections

Source records identify where figures and summaries came from and their stated access limits. Links may lead to public pages, abstracts, listings, or material that requires separate access. A citation or automated source check does not establish that every narrative is publicly verifiable or cleared for reuse. Cited materials remain subject to their owners' access and reuse terms. If you are a publisher, author, or rights holder and believe a figure is wrong or that any content should not appear here, write to properpugworks@gmail.com with the page and the item. We will review the request, and while it is under review we will remove or correct the item where the concern is substantial. Corrections from clinicians and researchers are welcome at the same address.

4. Accounts and seats

Each seat is for one named person. Do not share personal sign-in links or accounts. A shared demonstration code explicitly issued by the owner may be used by invited reviewers during its designated temporary window; it provides no ownership, billing, or continuing subscription rights. A clinic plan owner may assign seats to colleagues by email and is responsible for those assignments. Student pricing requires a verified .edu email address.

5. Subscriptions and payment

New plans are billed annually and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card number. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing, and access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the provided brief and export tools for your own professional or educational work. Do not bulk scrape, resell, or republish the Service's compiled database, bypass access controls, or enter client or patient information anywhere in the Service. The Service is not designed to hold protected health information or education records.

7. Ownership

Our original software, design, and compilation remain ours, subject to applicable third-party licenses. Rights in cited source materials remain with their respective owners. Your subscription is a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own professional or educational work.

8. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Ending access

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Questions: properpugworks@gmail.com.
